In which ways can architecture be the seed of change? Through what perspectives can cities be looked at with new eyes?
Milano Arch Week is back for its sixth edition—with the artistic direction of Stefano Boeri, President of Triennale Milano, and curated by Nina Bassoli and Matteo Ruta, with the collaboration of Joseph Rigo—with days of lectures, talks, workshops and itineraries developed around the idea of a “weak” architecture, listening to the needs and expectations of citizens and in dialogue with the territory and its inhabitants. With this in mind, the 2024 edition proposes itself as a moment of social and cultural reactivation of the city's energies to thoroughly investigate the enabling power of architecture. Collecting proposals from associations, designers, active citizens, and local organizations, received through an open call, the event expands its program to touch different neighborhoods of Milan.
