Saudiscapes A polyphonic journey to Saudi Arabia

On the occasion of the release of the book Saudiscapes, the authors Giovanna Silva and Emilia Giorgi, together with the architect Andrea Schiattarella of the Schiattarella Associati studio, discuss their journey through Saudi Arabia, captured in a work that blends photography, architecture and culture. The book explores the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah at the height of their architectural and social transformation, through images and reflections on the traces of the past and on new urban planning challenges. The event explores the relationship between memory, identity and urban development, combining artistic and professional perspectives to rethink the contexts in which architecture and landscape meet.
