A young austro-hungarian soldier escapes through Italian enemy lines in the final days of the Great War. Alone and frightened, he crosses the Asiago Plateau, a hostile but at the same time familiar territory, where nature proves to be a companion and witness to his journey. In a crescendo of emotions, the brutality of war is intertwined with memories of childhood and a deep connection with the natural world, giving rise to an inner conflict between destruction and harmony. A work that explores the boundary between history and myth, inspired by the name of a real-life soldier: Peter Pan.

Gianfilippo Pedote

Giliano Carli
Set designer, animator and director, has worked with Walter Santesso, Daniele Lucchetti, Ridley Scott, Ermanno Olmi, Leonardo di Costanzo and Michelangelo Frammartino.
