Cinema Night Under the Same Sky

The new Cinema Night, part of the Public program accompanying the exhibition Il Nostro Tempo. CinéFondationCartier, is a dialogue between filmmaker Eryk Rocha, philosopher Paolo Pecere and film critic Marco Giusti. The talk focuses on the film The Falling Sky (by Eryk Rocha and Gabriela Carneiro da Cunha, 2024), which recounts in intimate detail the cosmo-ecological thinking of the Yanomami people and their struggle to protect their lives and the Amazon rainforest. The discussion expands to topics such as cinema, geopolitics and spirituality. The talk introduces the screening program Under the Same Sky. Carte Blanche to Eryk Rocha, Gabriela Carneiro da Cunha, which includes a selection of films curated by the two filmmakers, in dialogue with The Falling Sky.
