Mission
Cuore activates collaborations among entities engaged in the preservation, promotion, and study of archival heritages and makes available unpublished heritages

A space for exhibitions, conferences, and workshops to delve into the heritages of archives, funds and collections external to Triennale, part of the archival system present throughout the country. The intent is to activate collaborations and moments of cultural dissemination, as well as to manifest the complexity of issues related to the valorization of heritages in the world of design.
An ever-expanding network that involves and binds superintendencies, public and private foundations, and companies.

Archivio Giovanni Testori

As part of our efforts to promote public and private archival heritage, we are dedicating an exhibition space—open to visitors free of charge until February 28, 2026—to the Testori Archive, which, with a wealth of materials, reflects the multidisciplinary nature of the work of Giovanni Testori (1923-1993), Italian painter, writer, playwright, poet, and art critic. The materials, displayed on ten tables, include biographical materials, family photographs, early poetry collections and graphic materials, historical-artistic studies, editorial projects, works for the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, including studies, drawings, and watercolors related to the staging of Erodiade, notebooks dated 1981 with notes and preparatory drafts of the novel In Exitu, and many other materials.

The design of the space

The design of the space reveals once more the original architecture designed by Giovanni Muzio in 1933 and is part of a pathway to development and restoration involving the whole of the Palazzo dell’Arte.
