Yaron Herman Trio
Yaron Herman is a world-class pianist and composer and is widely regarded as one of the leading musicians of his generation.
Despite his youth, Yaron has already performed on all continents, chaired the Jury of the Montreux Jazz Festival Competition, appeared on television in 39 countries and collected numerous awards including Victoires du Jazz, iTunes Choice Award,New Talents Trophy, Adami Jazz Talent, Choc Jazzman, Disque d’émoi Jazz. He was also the first jazz pianist in history to play in the “Forbidden City” of Beijing. With a background made of traditional Israeli music, European music, a brief transition to the Berklee College School of Music and presence in the jazz scene of Paris, Yaron has developed an unprecedented style of ‘composition in real time’ and a wild improvisation flick that culminate in a rare musical form that is both playful, scenic and impressive. Under the Blue Noteuniversal Jazz & Classic label, Yaron’s trio album Song of the Degrees was released in February 2019.
