We Are Who We Are Layering Languages in Contemporary Art

Anna Franceschini
May 23 2023, 6.30pm
Through the four meetings of We Are Who We Are. Layering Languages in Contemporary Art—a project by Damiano Gullì in collaboration with Annika Pettini—for the second year, we propose an in-depth study of Italian contemporary art with, on the one hand, thematic appointments related to the institution's exhibition projects, and, on the other hand, a focused focus on the emerging independent scene and on the most experimental languages with a transversal look and an increasingly fluid approach with respect to different disciplines.
The first appointment is dedicated to the practice and poetics of Anna Franceschini who, in conjunction with the opening of her solo exhibition All Those Stuffed Shirts, will talk about her new exhibition project for Triennale ranging from cinema to sound to the performance of machines.
Speakers include: Mariuccia Casadio; Damiano Gullì; Annika Pettini.
