Radio Raheem Sessions

For the third year running, the collaboration between Radio Raheem, the cultural hub and independent radio platform, and FOG, the performing arts festival of Triennale Milano, is renewed. On the occasion of Triennale Estate,a triple event is presented of a contemporary and urban nature. After the performances and installations hosted at the Sónar, Centre Pompidou, Stanford University and Dolby Labs NYC, Multiverse returns to Milan for a live performance. Gadi Sassoon's first solo work, the result of collaborating with the Milanese composer and Next Generation Sound Synthesis (NESS), is a unique work of sound design and composition, created with experimental sound synthesis algorithms, a supercomputer and traditional means. The outcome is an exploration of the boundary between the abstract and the real, through dimensions that are sometimes delicate and dreamy, sometimes threatening and science fiction-like. The evening starts with Bienoise, one of the most successful Italian composers and producers of his generation, with a sound performance created with sounds recorded by several sound artists during lockdown (a technique developed for the project curated by Radio Raheem entitled Fuori. Dalla Mia Finestra).
