Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori

One of Australia’s greatest contemporary artists, Sally Gabori began painting when she was around eighty, in 2005, and has achieved international fame. She has developed a unique body of work characterized by vibrant colors. which shows no apparent links with other aesthetic currents, especially within contemporary Aboriginal painting. The exhibition brings together around 30 monumental paintings from European and Australian public and private collections, and has been organized with the artist’s family and the Kaiadilt community.
