The talks We Are Who We Are. Stratificazione di linguaggi nell’arte contemporanea, a project by Damiano Gullì in collaboration with Annika Pettini dedicated to delving into the practice and poetics of Italian artists characterized by a transversal gaze and an increasingly fluid approach to different disciplines, are back. The appointments are structured in three one-to-one conversations: each talk is dedicated to a single artist with the aim of bringing out, through an intimate and spontaneous confrontation, the capacity for analysis and narration that is contained in the processes of artistic research and the different ways in which it is declined.
The first event features Annika Pettini—writer and Culture Manager for Edizioni Zero—in conversation with artist Marco Bongiorni. Moderator is Damiano Gullì, curator for Contemporary Art and Public program of Triennale Milano.
