Performance
Ultradim Anna Franceschini e Leila Hassan VIDEOGIOCHI/Cose Milanesi
September 23 2021, 9.00pm
VIDEOGIOCHI / Cose Milanesi is an audiovisual performance that investigates and subverts the usual relationships between man, machine and industrial and visual production systems. A manual cinema whose narration focuses on some objects selected from the archive of the Museum of Italian Design at Triennale Milano. Inanimate objects, deprived of context and functionality, become the leading actors of an unprecedented story, made live, directly from the hand of Anna Franceschini and from the sound interventions of Leila Hassan. An objectual procession, an assembly line - understood both in industrial and cinematographic terms - activated by the artists on stage and shared by them with the public, called to be an integral part of the production / artistic process through the observation and reinterpretation of the subjects who will scroll across the screen. A reflection on the commodity, on its possible dysfunctional and non-normative use, a research on the archives and the possible reactivations and repropositions of them.
