Switzerland at the International Exhibitions of Triennale Milano
May 16 2023, 7.00pm
The centenary of our institution provides an opportunity for the Swiss magazine "Archi" (espazium - Editions for the Culture of Construction) to delve into some moments of the participation of well-known Swiss architects, designers and artists in the International Exhibitions organized during the 20th century. Max Bill, Alfred Roth, Hans Fischli, among many others, left a significant mark through installations, avant-garde graphics and iconic design objects, often crossing disciplinary boundaries and finding spaces for experimentation, opportunities for exchange and mutual influences. Giampiero Bosoni, Elena Dellapiana, Marco Sammicheli and Federico Tranfa discuss with the issue's curators Gabriele Neri and Massimiliano Savorra, sharing their expertise on collaborations and investigating previously unseen aspects of this cultural intertwining.
