Sogno 3: la camera degli specchi

Reverie
June 13 2021, 11.00am
Running time 20’ Premiere
Sogno 3: la camera degli specchi is a site-specific performance conceived by Reverie especially for FOG. The artist will guide one spectator at a time through a dynamic experience beyond the visible, in a path between reflections and reality tests. As in a dream, the work uses voice and body to engage participants in an investigation of their identity. The spectators are welcomed with a letter by the artist and, at the end of the experience, are invited to write an anonymous testimony for the final synthesis that Reverie will produce with the material collected. There are no age or sensitivity restrictions; all are invited to this journey through the world of dreams.
Reverie is a Milan-based artist originally from Tuscany. In her projects, she creates performances that study the spectators’ reactions; she curates every aspect, from the concept to the design of objects, pieces, sounds and interactions, finalising every work with a synthesis of the project. She is currently working on the theme of dreaming. Recently, her “librosogni”, published by Skira with an introduction by Raffaella Perna, has been presented at Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome. Her most recent performances include: Sogno 2: The Sleeping Muse, Milan, Palazzina Liberty Dario Fo e Franca Rame; Sogno 1: Archetipo del sé, Rome, Fondazione VOLUME!; Futura Poesia, London, Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art.
