October 6 2023 – January 7 2024
Free admission
A retrospective designed to explore and understand the complexity of the research work in art, theory, textiles, and culture carried out by Seth Siegelaub, gallery owner, curator, publisher, and collector, through three themes: textile artifacts, contemporary art, and publishing activities. The exhibition is enriched by a special focus on innovative projects with conceptual artists, research and publications on media and communication theory, and the collection of textiles and books about textiles. The exhibition project is being realised on the occasion of the Fondazione Antonio Ratti's recent acquisition of Seth Siegelaub's book collection and the consequent donation of his textile collection by the Egress Stitching Foundation, currently directed by Marja Bloem.
