Performance
Senza titolo
Annamaria Ajmone
March 25 – 26, 2023
The project consists of three performances of 30 minutes each
Senza titolo is a performance by Annamaria Ajmone – Triennale Milano Teatro associate artist – that takes on different looks, durations and tones according to the spaces in which it is staged. In Triennale, the performance will include three different and independent 30-minute actions, presented over the course of a day. The space is left untouched and is what ignites the dance, which comes alive in the effective and immediate encounter between the active elements of the event: the architectural structure, movement and the relationship with the audience. The choreographic composition doesn’t follow a score, task or guiding principles; it is created by the action itself. The costumes too, designed by Fabio Quaranta, are part of the web of stimuli and suggestions that generate the actions.
Annamaria Ajmone is a dancer and choreographer. At the center of her research is the body understood as malleable matter, which transforms spaces into places. She shares the creative process with different collaborators, involving various imaginaries and visions. She presents her works in numerous dance, theater and performing arts festivals, museums, art galleries and atypical spaces including: Triennale Milano Teatro, Santarcangelo Festival, Théâtre de la Ville, Biennale Danza, Public Fiction/Night Gallery, PalaIs de Tokyo. In 2015 he won the Danza&Danza award as best emerging contemporary performer. She organizes with Sara Leghissa Nobody's Indiscipline, a platform for the exchange of practices among artists, and NESSUNO, a practice of gathering and celebration. She is associate artist 2021-2024 of Triennale Milano Teatro.
