Rapture is the new monthly clubbing event at Voce Triennale, conceived by Pinky Rossi and Nicola Guiducci, which intertwines sound memory, artistic research, and contemporary experimentation.
The first event is divided into two complementary parts: in the antechamber of Voce, a performance by special guest NicoNote, an artist who crosses the boundaries between music, theater, and performance; in Voce, Nicola Guiducci, a legendary figure in Milanese clubbing, creates a unique dj set from his sound archive, the result of over forty years of experience, visions, and transformations, to blend the rhythms of the past with the sensibilities of the present.
Nicola Guiducci is a dj, producer, and photographer based in Milan, an artist, creative director, and founder of Milan's Plastic Club, as well as editor of the magazine “NG™.”
As a DJ, he curates soundtracks for fashion shows, ballets, and exhibitions. As a photographer, he has held exhibitions in Milan, Paris, Berlin, and Barcelona. He rose to fame in the early 1980s by creating a completely new way of mixing a wide range of music on the dance floor.
Rosangela “Pinky” Rossi entered Milan's nightlife scene as a customer at Plastic, and was then invited by Nicola Guiducci to manage the private room's guest list. Over the years, she became a partner in the club and one of the key figures in its selection and management, contributing to its development as an iconic venue in Milan's nightlife. Alongside her nightlife activities, Pinky launched the Adèss Pedala project, reinventing vintage bicycles with an artistic and sustainable aesthetic, showcasing a creative and urban side to her identity.
NicoNote (It/A), pseudonym of Nicoletta Magalotti, is a multidisciplinary artist renowned for her vocals and for a career spanning music, theater, clubbing, installations, and performances, with production and curatorial projects. Active since the 1980s, she made her debut on the Italian new wave scene with Violet Eves and has collaborated with Romeo Castellucci and Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, as well as starring in Cocoricò's Morphine. With a discography that began in 1985, she has taken her work on tour in Europe, Canada, Israel, Argentina, and Brazil. Her most recent album, Limbo Session vol. 1 (Rizosfera/Rough Trade, 2021), produced together with Wang Inc., explores the territories of sound poetry, electronics, and improvisation.
