Stories are always needed. That's why every week we host Orbita at Voce Triennale, a series of events in collaboration with Chora and Will ranging from live podcasts, interviews, stand-up comedy, and musical performances.
In this episode, we address the regional disparities that characterize Italy and affect an entire generation of young people forced to travel to build their future. Through a story told in images, we start with the questions “why did you leave?” and “why did you come back?” to analyze the big issues surrounding the north/south divide and how it impacts the younger generations.

Stefano Maiolica, CEO Chupito Agency and content creator
Carlo Notarpietro, political author at Chora and Will Media
Gianvito Fanelli is a designer, founder and curator of Vita lenta, food writer, communication manager at LOI and author of the newsletter La Colazione dei Campioni. As a designer, he provides consulting services for digital transformation in public administration, branding, content design and events. He has worked for Tangity, VICE, Elita, Linecheck and Milano Design Award.
Stefano Maiolica, originally from Salerno, moved to Milan to pursue his university dream, soon finding himself living a new life away from home. This experience gave rise to @unterroneamilano, an Instagram community that has become a point of reference for those seeking to feel at home even hundreds of miles away. His daily stories in the Lombard capital inspired the autobiographical novel Il sole in valigia (The Sun in a Suitcase).
Carlo Notarpietro, an expert in strategy and political communication, has worked in the field on election campaigns for parties and institutions. Today, he focuses on explaining politics and making it accessible to the Will community by monitoring the main news stories on a daily basis and reporting on the most relevant issues.
