Open Machine

Vittorio Cosma directs an improvised happening (with Pacifico, Whitemary and Jeremiah Fraites of the Lumineers) which places music at its centres, enabling the audience to gain direct experience of the creative mechanisms of musical composition. Produced by The Goodness Factory and Music Production, Open Machine is a groundbreaking proposition in the Italian contemporary music landscape. Open Machine is much more than a performance: it’s a tangible intervention, which contributes to reconnecting music to its experimental and cultural dimensions. The musicians participating in performance meet in the dark, while the audience becomes immersed in an authentic moment of artistic creation.
