The museum as a seed for overcoming inequality
June 19 2025, 6.30pm
Free admission upon registration
The museum opens to an augmented dimension, in constant transformation. A living organism that combines preservation and narrative, experimenting with new forms of accessibility and inclusion. Rethinking places of culture today means activating a planning process capable of interweaving architecture, design and graphics with the possibilities offered by emerging technologies, neuroscience and artificial intelligence, in dialogue with the needs of communities. Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto – architects, three times Compasso d'Oro winner and founders of the Migliore+Servetto studio – propose a transversal vision of the contemporary museum as a dynamic and generative space. In the volume Museum Seed. The Futurability of Cultural Places, published by Electa, they investigate the future of cultural places as engines of transformation, capable of activating inclusive practices and reducing inequality.
