We present Anatomy of Sound, a review that brings into dialogue musicians, producers and singers characterized by a strong design attitude, drawing a bridge between the culture of design and that of music. The talks are led by Lorenzo Palmeri, designer and musician, and are an opportunity to discover how method and intuition, structure and instinct, vision and expressive freedom are intertwined in the construction of a sound work.
Protagonist of the second talk will be Michele Canova, among the most successful Italian producers, who has worked with Tiziano Ferro, Jovanotti, Marco Mengoni, Eros Ramazzotti, Luca Carboni, among others. A performative lecture, with a playlist built ad hoc between songs from international pop culture and productions by Canova himself. A journey through time between past and present technologies, demonstrating how they have shaped, and continue to shape, the writing, production and aesthetics of the music we listen to.
