Lotus 177 The New Landscaping
September 16 2025, 6.30pm
Free admission upon registration
We present The New Landscaping, the third issue of Lotus magazine, which we produced in collaboration with Editoriale Lotus. On the occasion of the International Exhibition Inequalities, the new issue focuses on the idea of landscape as representation, reflecting both changes in ways of seeing and changes in the Earth's surface. A new dramaturgy due to the effects of earthquakes and deforestation has entered the landscape scene, influencing our way of perceiving the world. The New Landscaping examines experiences that test the adoption of architecture suited to an environment that needs to be restored, possibly through urban forestation, or—as in the case of the Great Green Wall—aimed at combating desertification in the African Sahel.
