In this immersive sound performance, two young talents of contemporary theatre explore the relationship between seeing and not seeing, staging testimonies by blind and visually impaired people. The spectators, joined side by side by the performers, will be placed at the centre of a sensorial world encompassing a plurality of places, voices and sounds, listening through headphones to memories and reflections by sight-impaired people. Through this experience the audience/participants are invited to question their perception of reality and the relationship between being able or unable to see in the process of image formation.
Marco Corsucci was born in Cattolica in 1995. He graduated in directing in 2022 from the "Silvio D'Amico" Academy. After graduating, he worked as assistant director to Massimiliano Farau for Pene d'amor perdute, to Valentino Villa forKasimir e Karoline and to Antonio Latella for Hotel Goldoni and La Locandiera. He was a finalist in the Biennale College 2022 call with Mine-Haha and won the Camilleri Prize in 2023 for Il Supermaschio, a performance that premiered at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto in 2023.
Andrea Dante Benazzo was born in Milan in 1996. He graduated in acting in 2020 from the "Silvio D'Amico" Academy. He worked as an assistant director to Alessandro Businaro for George II (Biennale Teatro 2020) and Valentino Villa for Au Bord (Romaeuropa Festival 2022). His directorial debut Partschótt won the European Young Theatre (2019), Powered by REf (2020), Animali teatrali fantastici e dove trovarli (2021), and Direction Under30 (2022) calls. His acting journey led him to collaborate in film with Lorenzo Quagliozzi and Gianluca Minucci, and in theater with Marco Corsucci and Antonio Latella.
