Le forme del valore: arte e denaro
From October 9 to 23, 2019 Triennale Milano and IULM University present the exhibition Marco Nereo Rotelli. Le forme del valore: arte e denaro. The exhibition, which falls on the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of IULM, stems from the dialogue between Marco Nereo Rotelli and the young curators of the University. It urged to reflect on the theme of money, word chosen by IULM Rector Gianni Canova for the project Word of the Year, around which all the 2019 University initiatives revolve. The word is the medium through which the artist explores the dialogue between poetic value and economic value. In the interdisciplinary perspective that characterizes Rotelli's research, philosophy, literature and poetry become the cornerstones of a reflection on money, art and society.
The opening of the exhibition, introduced by Gianni Canova, Rector of the IULM University, Stefano Boeri, President of Triennale Milano and Lorenza Baroncelli, Artistic Director of Triennale Milano, will take place on 8 October at 7.00 pm. During the event, Marco Nereo Rotelli will create a spectacular light installation on the facade of the University. The performance will be accompanied by a musical playlist curated by Alessio Bertallot.
