During his musical career, Kenny Barron has played with James Moody, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, Milt Jackson and Stan Getz. Since 1974, he has founded and directed several jazz ensembles, always with top-notch musicians, recording over 40 albums as a leader. An unmistakable style, a supremely elegant phrasing and a preference for Brazilian and Latin music make him one of the top jazz artists of the past half century.
