Miles Davis: Birth of Quintet

On October 11, 1964, Triennale Milano hosted the legendary live performance of the Miles Davis Quintet, one of their very first live shows, featuring Miles Davis on trumpet, Ron Carter on bass, and Tony Williams on drums. To celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the concert, our theater transforms into a time machine with the film of the performance. JAZZMI 2024 is opened by three screenings accompanied by a roundtable of musicians and industry experts to commemorate the Quintet that revolutionized the history of Jazz and music.
