Italian Architecture Prize 2023
July 14 – September 24 2023
Free admission
What makes a building capable of inspiring and leaving an imprint on history? What are the principles for sustainable architecture in harmony with its surroundings? Each year the Italian Architecture Prize, promoted in collaboration with MAXXI - National Museum of 21st Century Arts, presents us with a cross-section of Italian architecture of the present, with an eye towards the future. Now in its fourth edition, it promotes works created by designers, active in Italy, whose commitment is aimed at innovation, project quality and the social role of architecture, awarding prizes for the best building of the last three years, the best project under 35 and a lifetime achievement award. The exhibition, which takes place in alternate years between Rome and Milan, presents the projects of the prize winners and finalists.
