ISOLE
Nicolás Jaar
March 13 2024, 7.00pm
Deep beneath the ocean's surface lies another dormant realm, and the islands depicted by Nicolás Jaar are the dreams that emerge from its buried depths, conveyed through musical and visual language. In his literary debut ISOLE (Timeo, 2024), Jaar, a successful musician and producer, weaves an iridescent mosaic where images flow and return like loops, overlap like samples, and reverberate like echoes in a minimal and prismatic plot. Fragments vanish and re-emerge transfigured, as the fairy tale gives way to revelation, the historical account to poetry, and the prayer to theater.
