Innovation in Music: from Artistic Creation to Copyright Collection in the Age of AI and Augmented Reality

New technologies are opening up new ways to make and experience art – music included. In fact, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) is enabling more immersive and custom art performances. But how is the rights management evolving in this new era? The partnership between Soundreef, Independent Management Entity, and The Astronut – Massimiliano Ionta, stems from the desire to explore in depth these new digital scenarios, from the experience of the artwork to the study of music copyright.

Soundreef will thus host a talk dedicated to the evolution of music creation and rights in an era characterized by Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality. The aim of the talk is to illustrate how these technologies are redefining the whole music chain and how it is therefore crucial that collecting societies keep evolving to ensure authors and publishers their rights are efficiently and fairly collected.
