Amont the most prominent names of the British scene, the band Ill Considered plays deep grooves and poignant melodies ranging from whispered chants to powerful climaxes. A unique sound that fits the moment and the audience and combines the dynamism of the new British jazz scene with improvised punk.
Ill Considered's first recorded album, the overwhelming and evocative Liminal Space, was released last October by New Soil – Marathon Music Group, after a series of nine albums of improvised live recordings. The line-up for this album, consisting of Idris Rahman on saxophone, Liran Donin on bass and Emre Ramazanoglu on drums, also features special guests such ad Tamar Osborn, Sarathy Korwar and Theon Cross.
