Fighting Inequalities with the Doughnut
September 18 2025
Free admission upon registration
On the occasion of the International Exhibition Inequalities, an in-depth look at Kate Raworth's Doughnut Economy, a model that integrates environmental sustainability and social justice, offering concrete tools for entities and businesses to take conscious, systemic action. Thematic workshops on how to apply the Doughnut in the social, environmental and corporate spheres are scheduled, followed by a plenary session with international contributions and operational visions. Two panels investigate the model as a compass for cities and as a framework for a regenerative economy, capable of guiding strategies, actions and impact measurements. The day closes with a talk by Kate Raworth, creator of the model, now adopted worldwide thanks in part to the work of the Doughnut Economics Action Lab. An opportunity to strengthen a global network committed to building a safe and just space for humanity.
Program

The Doughnut as a Compass for 21st Century Cities - International Experiences on Housing, Food, Environment, Work and Energy.
The Doughnut as a Framework for a Regenerative Economy - models and strategies for integrating the paradigm into business policies.
The day will conclude with a Keynote Speech by Kate Raworth and a dialogue with Stefano Boeri, president of Triennale Milano.
