ERCO Light Box: Light and Photography in Dialogue

A room full of light, a light box for viewing images: the exhibition is a metaphor both for the ability to transform spaces through light and for access to the company's vast photographic archive, which for decades has documented unique visions of light and architecture. Since the 1970s, under the direction of Otl Aicher, the brand has developed a unique approach to photography, a visual dialogue between the company and renowned contemporary photographers. The exhibition presents iconic motifs from four decades, illustrates processes and key players in architecture and lighting design, and brings light as an intangible design medium to life.
