Nature and Design: system from history to exploitation...

March 18 2019, 10.30am
Design research, which handles complex projects dealing with ecological and human issues, requires different operating times to think about the transformations to come. On this day we hopes to give a possibility of dialogue to philosophers and creators of text and form.
H. 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Nature, knowledge and meanings Based on the knowledge and a history that places the plants at the center of various transfers and mediations, this part handles with the historical and contemporary issues of knowledge. Emanuele Coccia, filosofo, The Life of Plants. Astrid de la Chapelle e Pauline Briand, 163km2.
H. 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Natura, sapere e significati If you consider or compare the systemic abilities of nature with the artificial ones put together by human groups, you must ask how researchers, philosophers or designers can contribute to understand or develop projects that are not “managers” of nature? Factories, dreams, knowledge, reflection, etc.
