On the damned future of newspapers
June 26 2025, 6.30pm
Free admission upon registration
An open discussion between Luca Sofri, founder and editorial director of the "Il Post", and Ben Smith, american journalist, editor of "Buzzfeed News", media columnist for the "New York Times", and now editor of the website "Semafor", on how journalism is changing, including new editorial models, transformations in digital behavior, and challenges related to the quality of information. In a context marked by global crises and rapid change, it is becoming increasingly urgent to question not only how to read the news, but also who tells it and with what tools. What future for print and digital newspapers? What forms does current affairs storytelling take today? And how are our habits in seeking out and interpreting what is happening transforming. Through their experiences and visions, Sofri and Smith offer a thoughtful and stimulating reflection on one of the most central issues of our time.
