On the occasion of the show In a landscape by CollettivO CineticO, Francesca Pennini (director, choreographer) and the artists of the company propose the workshop Ghosts, pupils and other dizziness. The revolution of looking and being seen, the alchemy of presence and the magic of disappearance, the transition state of the flesh and its revelation, the microscopic texture of immobility. The workshop includes a movement training and a creative session of experimentation according to the practices of CollettivO CineticO.

Yet, beside the patience and effort required by performing reiterative patterns, a new quality emerges, which eludes definition. Determination seems to lead to disappearance, to a voluntary extinction of the subject. The dance embodies an extreme act of love and, as in John Cage’s music, becomes a bridge to the sublime.
