We present the extensive monograph, published by Silvana Editoriale, celebrating more than fifty years of Arduino Cantàfora's work. Artist and architect, born in 1945, Cantàfora is a central figure in contemporary European culture. Through a visual journey of images and previously unpublished texts, this volume of over 300 pages reveals Cantàfora's universe and invites readers to discover and rediscover the work of an artist who has been able to transform painting into a bridge between memory and dream, between architecture and poetry, since his early works such as the emblematic La Città analoga, a monumental painting created for the 15th Triennale di Milano in 1973. His work reflects a profound dialogue with classicism and an attention to the symbolic value of space. A professor at important universities in Europe and the United States, he has influenced entire generations.
