The time we live in, the time of constant cultural, aesthetic and moral evolution of the relationship progress-humans-environment, offers to each and every one of us the following question: what is the impact technologies and sciences have on art, design and contemporary culture? The book “Art, Technology and Science” takes a form of a complex and comprehensive analysis, between art criticism and culture journalism, in which the scenarios and research fields of contemporary New Media Art are exhaustively described. The book guides the reader though the elements of the interdisciplinary context made up of independent self-productions, institutions, workshops and industries. The book presents an exploration of protagonists and experiences in the contemporary, an exploration which is enriched by the interviews with the field experts. This analysis is aimed at examining experiences and highlighting strategies as well as at sharing a possible economic model for art and culture.
