Antonio Citterio Design

The volume (published by Silvana Editoriale) traces more than 50 years of activity in the field of industrial design by Antonio Citterio, one of the masters of contemporary design. Introduced by Andrea Branzi and Francesco Bonami, the book offers an account of a body of work that has seen the production of more than 600 products: from the Baia sofa and the Diesis series—designed with Paolo Nava and marking the beginning of a decade-long collaboration with B&B Italia—to the important collaborations with Flexform, Arclinea, Vitra, Flos, and Axor, up to the most recent work with Cassina and Knoll. The rich iconographic repertoire includes product images, archive photographs-some of which tell the "behind the scenes" story of the birth of some design icons-and autograph sketches.
