Ambrose Akinmusire Quartet

Driven by a constant desire to seek out new musical paradigms that bring together various genres, in a career spanning fifteen years Ambrose Akinmusire has played every kind of jazz, from classic to hip hop. His unorthodox approach to sound and composition, with a continuous development of his compositional creativity, has earned him invitations from the Doris Duke Foundation, the MAP Fund, the Kennedy Center, and the Monterey Jazz Festival.
