HYLEtech Lab: Light in Matter Architectural Variations

During Milan Design Week, we host the installations of HYLEtech Lab, conceived as a laboratory space dedicated to exploring experimental solutions in contemporary architecture. HYLEtech, a company born from the know-how of Luce 5, brings together six internationally renowned architects: Han Tümertekin (Tümertekin Architects), Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori (Studio Labics), Marco Casamonti (Archea Associati), Gary Chang (EDGE Design Institute), Francisco Mangado (Mangado Y Asociados) and Emanuel Gargano (Emanuel Gargano Studio). Each architect has developed an architectural installation inspired by six key concepts: Atmosphere, Thinness, Infinity, (Evolved) Connections, Sustainability, and Revolution. Each installation is accompanied by a dedicated workshop—educational moments focused on the HYLEtech world—and a conversation with the guest architect led by Luca Molinari. The program offers a unique opportunity to observe the design process in action, fostering an open dialogue with the public.
