Fredericia A Chronicle of Danish Design

April 20 – 26, 2026
On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, we host Fredericia: A Chronicle of Danish Design. The exhibition explores the evolution of Danish furniture design through the lens of Fredericia, a family-owned company that for over a century has pursued a philosophy grounded in craftsmanship and a strong cultural commitment. The exhibition highlights the continuity of the company’s ideas and approaches: from collaborations with mid-twentieth-century pioneers such as Børge Mogensen, Nanna Ditzel and Hans J. Wegner to contemporary designers including Jasper Morrison, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby and Cecilie Manz. Through vintage furniture, archival materials and new works, the project presents Danish design not as a static style but as a cultural practice in continuous evolution—rooted in its history and cultural context—capable of leaving a lasting mark on the international scene.
