The week dedicated to design is back
Milano Design Week takes place April 20–26, 2026. During this special week for the city, at Triennale we present a program of free exhibitions and installations dedicated to design. For this edition, we host six projects by companies and institutions working in the field, offering different perspectives on contemporary design through a range of approaches.

Free to visit, the exhibitions include CASA ULTRAPIEGA, presented by Anonima Castelli and designed by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto; The Eames Houses, a project by Eames Office in collaboration with the Charles & Ray Eames Foundation; Fredericia: A Chronicle of Danish Design by Fredericia; From Archive to Living Art. Continuum by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna and designed by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto; HYLEtech Lab: Light in Matter. Architectural Variations by HYLEtech; and Frans Dijkmeijer: The Silent Pioneer, curated by Marco Sammicheli and presented by Kvadrat.

In Triennale, visitors also have the opportunity to visit Edward Barber | Jay Osgerby. Alphabet, a retrospective dedicated to the London-based design studio (free admission); the new exhibition path of the Museo del Design Italiano, featuring over 400 objects from the collection (ticketed, with free entry for all students); exhibitions on Andrea Branzi and Lella and Massimo Vignelli (ticketed), and Don Bronstein (free admission). As always, it is also possible to visit Casa Lana by Ettore Sottsass, along with a new exhibition dedicated to the architect and designer in Sala Sottsass (ticketed). At Piano parco, the exhibition Nello spazio di un secolo. Rai Pubblicità, 100 anni di storia e oltre is on view with free admission.

Between visits, the Garden is a place to pause and spend time outdoors, surrounded by art. A space to take a break or enjoy lunch and dinner with others at our bar and restaurant, Cucina Triennale.
