White Out The Future of Winter Sports

Until March 15 2026
Free admission
What happens to winter sports when the snow disappears? Design, architecture, and technology engage in dialogue with climate change.
The term “whiteout” describes an optical effect that occurs at high altitudes when the snow-covered landscape and the sky merge into a single uniform white, causing poor visibility. This extreme condition becomes the starting point for a reflection on the future of winter sports, in dialogue with the world of design. The exhibition explores the relationship between sports, design, and innovation, with a particular focus on the impact of the ongoing climate crisis. The exhibition is organized into thematic sections that focus on disciplines, projects, equipment, and technologies, with a special emphasis on sports architecture.
