Il risveglio #1 Pane del bosco

As part of Equinozio, we present at Voce a sound installation by Chandra Candiani, poet and translator of Buddhist texts from English. Her voice moves through the space and sound system with poems from the Primavera section of Pane del Bosco (Einaudi, 2023), a collection written after she left Milan to settle in a woodland area of Piedmont. The work weaves together word and silence, offering a subtle and essential form of nourishment. It becomes a moment of lightness and depth within her practice and writing, inviting us to pause and attend to what grows, invisible yet alive, beneath the surface of things.
