Moses Boyd

Moses Boyd is just thirty years old (born in 1991), but has the stylistic maturity of the great contemporary jazz. Drummer, composer, producer and electronic musician, Moses has already won the prestigious “The London Born Winner” of the MOBO Awards in 2015 for the “Best jazz act”, as well as other important awards such as “The John Peel” at the Play more Jazz Award 2016 the nomination as “Young jazz musician of the year” for the Worshipful Company of Music in 2014. Moses has already performed with most of the great jazz and acid jazz musicians of the moment such as Lonnie Liston Smith, Ed Motta, Little Simz, Four Tet, Floating Points, Sampha, Zara Mcfarlane, Gilles Peterson & many more.
In October 2021 Moses Boyd will step on the stage of Triennale Milano Teatro presenting “Dark Matter”, an unpublished project with his historic full band from which was born an album, released in the darkest moment of 2020, which contains totally original tracks.
