I Canzonieri, Canva6, Pit

As part of Equinozio, at Voce we host the live performance of I Canzonieri, a multimedia artistic and musical project conceived by artist Emiliano Maggi and musician Cosimo Damiano. The project intertwines electronic and electroacoustic experimentation with elements of neofolk. Their performances are characterized by live electronics alongside the use of acoustic instruments—voice, harmonium, flutes, string instruments and percussion—often self-built or customized, varying according to the venue and circumstances. The artists perform wearing handcrafted costumes that evoke figures from a dreamlike imaginary, becoming an integral part of the performative narrative. Following this, Canva6, a musical project curated by Marco Farina and born from the experimentation with traditional harmonic progressions articulated through unpredictable timbral takeovers, will perform. The evening concludes with a DJ set by composer and sound designer Pit.
