Havana, with its vibrant historic center that was declared a World Heritage Site in 1982, has been the setting for an ambitious restoration process led by the Oficina del Historiador de la Ciudad under the emblematic figure of Eusebio Leal. The Cuban pavilion addresses the issue of inequalities from a unique perspective, linked to Cuba’s socio-spatial reality. Through an immersive narrative, the pavilion speaks of a diffused urbanity, where inequalities dissolve within the cultural fabric. This approach highlights the uniqueness of the city's historic center and the work of the OHC, which has managed to preserve social balance without falling into elitism or segregation.
