Balancing Dynamics: The Law of Civilization Development
Until November 9 2025
The China Participation reimagines inequality as a paradoxical driver of societal dynamic equilibrium, inspired by traditional Chinese philosophy. Beyond binary judgments, five universities propose localized solutions titled as following: “life network”, “food ecology”, “diverse aging”, “living city”, and “mediated balancing”. It addresses how design can be used to echo the issue of inequalities in tech, environment, aging, and urbanism, and reframes all kinds of imbalances as opportunities for equitable transformation rooted in Chinese contexts yet globally relevant. The exhibition’s modular aquaponics platform and 3D-printed bridge symbolize interconnected growth and boundary-crossing dialogue.
