The World Around In Focus: Radical Repair

September 28 2023, 6.00pm
This year, The World Around joins our cultural partner Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain to create a Global Cultural Partnership convening interdisciplinary perspectives on contemporary architecture. We are hosting their first collaborative event, In Focus: Radical Repair. The conference taking place in our theater features a series of talks, films and conversations. Speakers, including Yasmeen Lari, Jeanne Gang and Joseph Grima convene for a discussion centered on the theme of radical repair.
Founded in New York in 2020, The World Around is an itinerant institution and platform for progressive global contemporary architecture. Through international events, cultural partnerships, and educational initiatives, it champions the role of design in addressing the many complex challenges of our time. Through its Young Climate Prize initiative, a biannual award and mentorship program, The World Around amplifies and accelerates the impact of global climate-change focused projects by pairing young climate leaders with mentors from the global design community.
