How do we bring new worlds into being? And how do we renew existing ones in order to better inhabit the reality that surrounds us? As part of Equinozio, we host at Voce a conversation with Federico Campagna, connected remotely, with whom we explore myths, narratives, biographies, and religions that, throughout history, have helped humanity endure the harshness of the present. The event offers a reflection on these tools—ancient and contemporary alike—as concrete practices for generating new horizons of meaning.
Federico Campagna is an Italian philosopher based in London. He is the author of Otherworlds: Mediterranean Lessons on Escaping History (2025), Prophetic Culture: Recreation for Adolescents (2021), Technic and Magic: The Reconstruction of Reality (2018), and The Last Night: Anti-work, atheism, adventure (2013). He is a lecturer on the MA Fine Arts at ECAL in Lausanne, visiting lecturer on the MA Fashion at the Royal College of Art, and associate fellow at the Warburg Institute in London. Campagna is the director of the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève’s art and philosophy school Agora; editorial co-director and co-founder of the philosophy publisher Timeo; and rights director at the radical publishing house Verso.
