Giovanni Testori Archive Philology and creative sparks
January 14 2026, 6.30pm
Free admission upon registration
The papers of Giovanni Testori (1923-1993)—painter, writer, playwright, poet and art critic—are increasingly arousing fascination among scholars and enthusiasts. Recent academic research has yielded interesting philological results; in other cases, an innovative approach has also allowed for creative outcomes. During the meeting, these topics are discussed with Giovanni Agosti, Giovanni Hänninen and Davide Dall'Ombra. Until February 28th, a selection of the Archive's papers is housed in the Cuore space, where materials from the Lombardy Region Testori Collection (on deposit in the Novate Milanese House) and the Giovanni Testori Association Archive are presented in a chronological path enriched with thematic insights.
